A case of reducing missed casting defects in the appearance inspection of aluminum die-cast products!

We would like to introduce a case study of problem-solving at an automobile manufacturer. At this manufacturer, there were areas where the conventional lighting could not illuminate the workpiece, leading to overlooked defects. Therefore, we proposed the Light Board PROA3, which has a large emission surface. Here is an example of processing at automotive parts manufacturer Company C. This manufacturer was struggling with paint defects and dents on resin parts that had a glossy paint finish. Therefore, we proposed the "Light Board PROJA4 (Mask Pattern: Stripe)." The stripe pattern on the light-emitting surface is reflected onto the workpiece, capturing changes in the light-emitting surface and making defects visible.
